Ex-JW fundraising ideas
by Mindchild inin chat tonight, i enjoyed the opportunity to talk to someone here who is actively involved in doing fund raising for different ex-dub projects and organizations.
i thought that was really a cool thing to do and wanted to pass a few thoughts on to you good folks to think favorably in this direction.. im not soliciting for any funds here but rather ideas of how different individuals might raise some capital to donate to the cause they see important.
i know there are many generous people out there and that is all well and good if you have the funds you want to contribute but i was thinking there may be additional ways that we could raise capital for projects without resorting to asking for collections.. some of the time honored ways of doing things like this are bake sales, selling candy, or some other product.

Weed
by rollercoaster ini have been out of the org., for over a year now.
i raised my child in the org., and she is now 14. i started smoking pot a month ago, and my daughter found out.
of course she was taught that this is sooo bad.

Sister Bitter Mango – the sweet little sister who was a Daddy’s girl and she always had a smile that could light up a room. She was the youngest in the family; artistic, musical, emotional, a bit spoiled and almost always got her way, but never acted like a brat. Occasionally she would step on my toes (as most little sisters do) but I let her get away with it since she was so cute and lovable and doesn’t have a mean streak in her soul. She is usually hanging out with Cousin PeaceLoveHarmony giggling and wanting to tagalong with all of us older kids.

expatbrit! i'm so sorry to have to tell you this, as i know it is going to shatter your heart ... i won't be coming to toronto as i had expected. yes, plans were almost set in stone but unfortunately the person i had planned on staying with retracted her offer (very complicated story).
anyhow, have your apostatefest! and enjoy yourselves .i will be in toronto by summer FOR SURE! and most likely for good (so we'll party LOTS!). this way, i have enough time to plan something more reasonable and much more reliable so that i CAN indeed actually move my ass out there and not worry about a place to stay and where i'm gonna get cash from. OOoo maybe on july 5th (my one year anniversary of being on the board) we can all go out and get right hammered ! .. like we need an excuse though
muahahah! and nono dear, drinks are all on YOU! this is afterall, *MY* special guest appearance!
